Delhi Capitals Lose to Kolkata Knight Riders
On Tuesday, November 20th, 2025, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won by 14 runs against Delhi Capitals (DC) in a recent IPL 2025 match. KKR posted a strong score of 205 runs while batting first. Delhi, though tried their best, could not cross the target. This is their third defeat at home for this season. DC is presently fourth on the points table with 12 points.
Vipraj Nigam Remains Optimistic
After the game, Delhi's spin all-rounder Vipraj Nigam spoke to the media. He expressed faith in the team to bounce back and play better in the upcoming matches.
"Our strategy was to attack KKR's frontline spinners. We began well in the initial two overs. But, poor shot choice resulted in early losses," Nigam said.
He further added that chasing a total like that becomes more difficult when set batsmen lose their wickets prematurely.
"If the well-set batters had remained longer, the outcome might have been different. Every season of IPL has its ups and downs. We're still in the top 4 and have five games left. We are positive of bouncing back and ending in the top two," he added.
