Chennai Super Kings added Urvil Patel to their squad because of Vansh Bedi's injury. The franchise signed Urvil Patel for a base price of Rs. 30 lakhs. He is a 26-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman from Gujarat.
Urvil has impressive T20 records. He registered a couple of centuries in the Mushtaq Ali Trophy; one of the innings was against Tripura where he reached his hundred off just 28 balls. In the 2023 Vijay Hazare Trophy, he achieved a century in 41 deliveries. The IPL 2023 team of the Gujarat Titans included him as a player, and he was on the bench for all the games. Only two IPL 2025 Chennai Super Kings games have been played with the latter winning two. They are now out of the playoff race.
Harsh Dube Replaces Injured Ravichandran for Sunrisers
Sunrisers Hyderabad made a replacement due to another injury. Smran Ravichandran will miss the rest of the IPL 2025 season. The team brought in Harsh Dube as his replacement.
Harsh Dube is a bowling all-rounder from Maharashtra. He was signed at a base price of Rs. 30 lakhs. For the Vidarbha team, he has played 16 T20 cricket games. He took 127 wickets and scored 941 runs. In the 2024/25 Ranji Trophy, he helped Vidarbha win the title. He took 69 wickets and scored 476 runs and was named Player of the Tournament.
