Original Decision to Shift Base to Goa
India's opener Yashasvi Jaiswal had already decided to leave Mumbai and represent Goa in domestic cricket. He made this announcement in April and sent a formal letter to the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) to intimate them about this decision. He requested permission to play for Goa in domestic cricket. The MCA granted this permission in a jiffy.
Change of Plans and Reversal Back to Mumbai
A fortnight later, Jaiswal reconsidered. On Friday, he wrote to the MCA, informing that he wishes to play for Mumbai again. He mentioned that his family has rescheduled their idea of moving to Goa. He requested the MCA to retract the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued previously. He also ensured that he hasn't submitted this NOC to the BCCI or Goa.
