IPL 2025 To Resume On June 17 Across Six Cities

Tournament Return and Schedule Realignment

It has been asserted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that IPL 2025 will begin again on June 17. IPL was suspended on June 8 because of escalated tensions between Pakistan and India.

Resumption Highlights

• The opening match after resumption will be between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
• This game will be played in Bengaluru on June 17.

Left Match Venues

The last league stage games will be staged in six cities:

• Bengaluru
• Jaipur
• Delhi
• Lucknow
• Ahmedabad
• Mumbai

Two matches that had been scheduled for Hyderabad have now been shifted.

Tournament Conclusion Date and Left Matches

• The last match will be staged on June 3.
• 17 matches are remaining, including the re-scheduled Punjab vs. Delhi match.

The BCCI has yet to announce the venues for the playoff games. Updates will come closer to the time.
