COVID-19 Strikes SRH Team
Travis Head, the key SRH batter, has tested COVID-19 positive. He is in Australia and is not traveling due to illness.
Stay Back Reason
Head had gone to Australia earlier on account of rising India-Pakistan tensions. While SRH skipper Pat Cummins returned to India, Head stayed back in Australia after testing COVID-19 positive.
SRH's Upcoming Match and Head's Arrival
SRH is facing Lucknow Super Giants on Monday. According to Coach Daniel Vettori, it has been revealed that Head can reach India by Monday morning. It will be decided if Head features in the game or not based on his health at the time of arrival.
"Head is reaching India a little behind schedule. He has corona. That is why he is not flying these days. We will decide whether we play him or not depending on what happens after his return," coach Vettori said.
Recent Match Status and Team Performance
SRH's previous match against Delhi Capitals did not finish because of rain. The team has already lost 7 out of 11 matches and is already out of playoff considerations.
