Vipraj Nigam: IPL Has Changed My Life

Vipraj Nigam says IPL brought positive changes

Delhi Capitals all-rounder Vipraj Nigam shared that the Indian Premier League (IPL) has made a big impact on his life. He said playing with senior players in the tournament has helped him improve his performance. Delhi Capitals bought Vipraj for ₹50 lakhs in the auction. Since then, he has shown good progress in both batting and bowling.

Learning from experienced players helped his game

According to Vipraj, he is learning valuable skills by playing with senior cricketers. He mentioned that the support and recognition from his coaches and management are also important. "When Delhi Capitals selected me, I had a conversation with my coaches and team management. They observed my performances in league and domestic matches. I was always motivated by them to become a complete all-rounder. Therefore, I am also working on my batting and bowling equally," he said.

Training at NCA improved his bowling

Vipraj also explained the improvement in his bowling after training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). "I joined the NCA mainly as a batter. But there, three coaches worked closely with me. They advised me to take leg-spin bowling seriously. Earlier, I used to bowl just a few overs occasionally. But after NCA training, my mindset about bowling changed completely," he said.
