Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their IPL 2025 game on Friday in Lucknow. They defeated RCB by 42 runs. Hyderabad played first and made 231 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. RCB, chasing the target, got all out at 189 runs.

Ishan Kishan's Standout Performance

Ishan Kishan did a match-winning innings. He was unbeaten on 98 runs from 48 balls. His aggressive play enabled Hyderabad to put up a big score. Even when wickets were falling, he continued scoring at a good pace. His innings was instrumental in the victory of the team.

Former coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad Tom Moody found Ishan Kishan's show commendable. He said that Kishan was under pressure because of poor form at the start of the season. Moody added that Kishan demonstrated courage and played with purpose against RCB. He further said that Hyderabad would definitely retain Kishan for the upcoming season of IPL.
