Rishabh Pant Praises Nicholas Pooran's Career

West Indies cricketer Nicholas Pooran has retired from international cricket at the tender age of 29. Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant congratulated him via an Instagram message. He recognized Pooran's contributions to international cricket and showed his respect.

Pant stated, "Bro, you have left your mark in cricket. You are a real team player and buddy. You are a fantastic powerhouse. I am lucky to have played with you. Congratulations for all that you've done for West Indies cricket. I hope that you have a successful future ahead of you. I will always respect you."

Bond Created in IPL 2025

Rishabh Pant and Nicholas Pooran were teammates for Lucknow Supergiants during the 2025 season of IPL. Playing together as teammates strengthened their bond to a great extent.

In the course of the season, 524 runs were scored by Pooran in 14 matches. He is famous for his strong batting, and he hit 40 sixes and completed five half-centuries.

Pooran's International Record

Pooran did not feature in any Test matches for the West Indies. In One Day Internationals (ODIs), he made 1983 runs from 61 games. In Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), he scored 2275 runs in 106 games.

Now that he has retired from international responsibilities, he will play only in franchise leagues going forward.
