The All England Club has revealed that the overall prize money at Wimbledon 2025 is ₹624 crore. This represents a 7% hike over 2024.

Winners to Receive ₹34 Crore

Men's and women's singles title-holders will both receive ₹34 crore. This is an 11.1% increase from the figure last year.

Equal Prize for Men and Women

Both male and female champions will receive equal prize money. The event still upholds equal pay for tennis.

First-Round Players to Receive ₹76 Lakh

The first round losers will also be paid ₹76 lakh. This is to make sure that everyone who takes part benefits.

Prize Increases Over the Last Decade

Director at the All England Club, Deborah Jevans, said the prize money has increased steadily during the last 10 years. She clarified that the increase of 7% in this year is on the cards.

Tournament Dates and New Technology

Wimbledon 2025 will begin on June 30 and conclude on July 13. For the first time ever, the tournament will employ electronic line calling in place of line judges.
