Indian Cricketer Smriti Mandhana Postpones Wedding Due To Family Health Issues

The wedding of Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana was postponed at the last minute. The celebration was stalled after her father fell ill. Her wedding-related posts have vanished from Instagram recently, catching online attention.

Smriti had posted a video on her Instagram account confirming her engagement with the music director Palash Muchhal. She was dancing to the Bollywood number Samjo Ho Hai Gaya along with her fellow cricketers. The ring was also shown in that video. The video has disappeared from her Instagram and friends Jemima and Shreyanka have removed it from their accounts.

It is not known if Smriti deleted the video or made it private. However, the proposal video is still on Palash Muchhal’s Instagram. In the video, Palash is seen placing a ring on Smriti’s finger at the Navi Mumbai stadium where India won the ODI Cricket World Cup.

The marriage was scheduled in Bengaluru on November 23. Smriti’s father fell ill during the marriage celebrations and was admitted to a local hospital. According to her manager, she postponed the marriage due to this situation.

Palash, too, faced health concerns. He was admitted to the hospital due to infection and acidity; however, he was sent home shortly after. Smriti and Palash have been in a relationship since 2019, and their relationship was announced last year.
