Suresh Raina Says Players Hold More Responsibility Than The Coach

Team India lost the Kolkata Test against South Africa and thus trails 0–1 in the series. The team is also close to another defeat in the Guwahati Test. Before this, India faced a home whitewash against New Zealand. Because of these continuous losses, the discussions about removing Gautam Gambhir as head coach have intensified.

Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has come out in support of Gambhir. According to Raina, Gambhir is carrying out his duties and the players must take greater responsibility for the failures of the team.

Raina Supports Gambhir's Role as Coach

  • Raina said Gautam Gambhir performs his role as a coach with clarity. He pointed out that India won the Champions Trophy last year, followed by the T20 World Cup, and recently the Asia Cup.
