Third T20 Match Performance
- In the third game of T20 against South Africa, Shubman Gill had difficulty scoring runs quickly. He took time to settle on the crease but got out after scoring 28 runs. His performance in hitting seemed lacking in confidence.
- Suryakumar Yadav scored 12 runs off 11 balls. He hit some boundaries but could not showcase a lengthy innings. Their performance in the first two matches added pressure to them, given that the T20 World Cup is supposed to take place in India.

Abhishek explained he knows Gill very well since they have been playing the game together for a very long time. "Only in India can you see a batsman getting a thousand runs in a season," Abhishek stated when asked if Gill can deliver under pressure.
Suryakumar Yadav’s Response
Suryakumar Yadav answered comments related to his performances. He said that he does not think he is in poor form. He clarified that he finds it good in net sessions and will get runs when it is time. He talked about his country’s seven-wicket win over South Africa in their third T20 match. He complimented the bowlers on their excellent performance.
