Mumbai's selection committee chief, Sanjay Patil, has confirmed the news. He stated that the first two matches will be played without Jaiswal, Dube, and Rahane in the team. He also added that the selection committee is keen to provide an opportunity for some young players to perform.Jaiswal is suffering from a stomach problem and is undergoing treatment.
Mumbai Group & Match Schedule
Mumbai is placed in Group C. The group includes Punjab, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Goa, and Himachal Pradesh. Mumbai will start its campaign against Sikkim on December 24.

- The vice-captain of the Indian Test side, Rishabh Pant, will lead the team from Delhi. Virat Kohli will play for the Delhi side in this tournament as well
- The competition for the Vijay Hazare Trophy will be held from December 24 to January 8. The locations for the competition are Ahmedabad, Rajkot, and Jaipur. The knock-outs will occur from January 12 to January 18 on the ground of the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru.
