Sri Lanka Reach Women’s Asia Cup 2026 Final After Thrilling Win Over Pakistan

Sri Lanka have made it to the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 final as they defeated Pakistan by four wickets in thrilling fashion. Defending champions came from behind under pressure and chased down Pakistan’s target to set up a final clash against India.

Pakistan, winners of the toss, posted 130/5 in their 20 overs. Fatima Sana top-scored with an unbeaten 47 off 36 balls, laying down a good foundation for Pakistan.

Chasing down Pakistan’s score, Sri Lanka looked like they would be bowled out for 33/4.

But the middle and lower order displayed sheer resilience.

And in the end Sri Lanka crossed the finishing line with eight balls to spare.

Pakistan Fight Hard But Fall Short

Pakistan Women had the chance to reach the final after posting 130/5 on the board.

Fatima Sana was the standout performer for Pakistan, scoring an unbeaten 47 and also picking up four wickets with the ball.

Despite her all-round efforts, Pakistan could not prevent Sri Lanka’s recovery in the second innings.
