Balakrishna Praises NTR's Lasting Impact

Nandamuri Balakrishna is known to be honoring NTR's incomparable contributions both to the realm of arts and governance. He described NTR as the ace and pioneer in acting and redefined cinema through his innovative approach.

"There will be no death for those like NTR," said Balakrishna, referring to the revolutionary spirit of NTR.

Balakrishna spoke of the tremendous political achievements NTR had brought about. The Telugu Desam Party, he said, was born out of the struggles of the poor and the hardworking. He lauded NTR's path-breaking welfare schemes like the subsidised rice at ₹2 per kilogram and housing for the underprivileged, which are still being resonated with the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

He hailed NTR as a "university of acting" and a guiding force for the nation, while his efforts had brought about a change that lasted.

NTR's Legacy of Governance

Balakrishna further emphasized NTR's administrative innovations such as over 330 talukas were reorganized into more than 1,000 mandals to bring governance streamlined. He credited NTR with inspiring thousands of youth, doctors, and engineers to actively take part in politics that broadened the scope of public service in Telugu-speaking states.

Ramakrishna Remembers NTR's Vision

Nandamuri Ramakrishna echoed similar sentiments, stating that the TDP was established to uphold the self-respect of the Telugu people. He recalled the overwhelming support for NTR, who became Chief Minister within just nine months of launching the party. Ramakrishna highlighted NTR’s unifying vision, which demonstrated that Telugu people, despite regional differences, share a common identity and purpose.
