Yamaha Cuts Prices on the R3, MT-03
Yamaha Motor India has reduced the prices of its flagship sports bike, the Yamaha R3, and the streetfighter MT-03 by ₹1.10 lakh. The company is now making the two models competitive in the Indian market. The new prices will be effective from February 1, 2024.
New Prices After the Discount
Yamaha introduced these models to further consolidate its position in the high-end bike segment, and it received less of the volume from customers that was anticipated. For the enhancement of sales volume, Yamaha has discounted the price of the following bike models:
- Yamaha R3 - Starting at ₹3.60 lakh (ex-showroom)
- MT-03 - Starting at ₹3.50 lakh (ex-showroom)
Powerful Engine and Advanced Features
Both Yamaha R3 and MT-03 have a 321cc twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 41 hp of power and 29.5 Nm of torque. Major highlights are as follows:
