Appointment Of New Vice Chancellors For Universities In Andhra Pradesh

Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer has issued a notification announcing the appointment of Vice Chancellors (VCs) for multiple universities in Andhra Pradesh.

Key Appointments

  • Andhra University Professor G.P. Rajasekhar has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor. He is currently a professor of mathematics at IIT Kharagpur.
  • JNTU Kakinada Professor C.S.R.K. Prasad has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor. He is presently serving as a professor of civil engineering at NIT Warangal.
  • Yogi Vemana University Professor P. Prakash Babu has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor. He is currently a senior professor in biotechnology at the School of Life Sciences, HCU.

Each of these newly appointed vice chancellors will serve a term of three years in their respective universities.
