Mahashivratri Brahmotsavams Begin In Srisailam

The traditional Mahashivratri Brahmotsavams were formally inaugurated in one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples of Srisailam. At 9 AM, the temple Executive Officer M. Srinivasa Rao, priests, and Vedic scholars entered the Yagasala to inaugurate the celebrations.

Temple Decorated for Brahmotsavams

The Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Warla temple has been tastefully decorated for the event. The authorities have gone to great lengths to provide the large number of devotees visiting the place with all the amenities. The arrangements include:

  • Additional crowd control queue lines
  • Temporary accommodation facilities
  • Expanded parking spaces for convenience

Welcoming Devotees with Grand Arrangements

The temple has also been adorned with welcome arches, which add to the festive ambiance inside the complex. The flag hoisting, the highlight, will be conducted at 7 PM on Wednesday at the main flagpole. This ceremony is the formal invitation to all deities to participate in the Brahmotsavams.
