Janhvi Kapoor Concerned Over Recent Attacks
Actor Janhvi Kapoor responded to the recent drone attacks on Jammu, which are associated with increased tensions between India and Pakistan. Posting her views on Instagram, she shared how much the incident impacted her.
She remarked that this is the first time she felt frightened. Though there had been violence happening overseas for days, in her opinion India must maintain peace. But presently, the same kind of attacks are occurring within India. According to Janhvi, India had practiced restraint for years but now has acted decisively to react.
Her Support for Armed Forces and Peace
Janhvi explained that the actions of India are not aggression but reaction to centuries-long suffering. She applauded the armed forces, explaining they are courageously fighting to protect the nation with Operation Sindhoor. She appealed to everyone to remain united and rally behind the military during this period.
She further stated that India should make a strong message and not tolerate any further threats. Janhvi was sad about the deaths of innocent lives and wished the conflict would cease soon. She stated that she would pray for the soldiers' safety.
Current Cross-Border Conflict
India recently retaliated following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. In retaliation, Pakistan initiated a series of attacks. They include missiles, suicide drones, and fighter aircraft. The attacks are aimed at border states like Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Punjab. India's armed forces are actively defending the areas and counter-attacking Pakistan's initiatives.
