Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Join Hands for Sekhar Kammula's Next Film

Director Sekhar Kammula is launching his new movie 'Kubera' on June 20. Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna are playing significant roles in the movie. A pre-release function and trailer launch took place recently in Hyderabad.

Rajamouli Appreciates Sekhar Kammula's Principles

Chief guest at the event, S.S. Rajamouli, complimented Sekhar Kammula. He called him humble in appearance but strong-willed in nature. Rajamouli pointed out that Sekhar never compromises on the principles he upholds despite outside pressure.

"Sekhar Kammula always holds on to his principles. That I admire. His nature and as a filmmaker both are governed by the principles he adopts for himself," Rajamouli said.

Industry Veterans Join Hands for Kubera commissione

Rajamouli was taken aback to discover that Sekhar was working in the industry for 25 years. He always assumed Sekhar to be younger in experience. He also seemed enthusiastic about the Kubera cast, referring to the pairing of Dhanush and Nagarjuna as a plus point of the film.

"When I heard the title 'Kubera' for the first time, I felt it was fantastic. Having Dhanush and Nagarjuna was like a great combination," he said.

Trance of Kubera Trailer Leaves Big Buzz

The trailer entitled 'Trance of Kubera' was screened at the event. It does not give away the entire plot but hints at Nagarjuna being in a luxurious environment and suggests Dhanush is in a poorer environment, generating interest.

"Sekhar typically uncovers the story sooner, but this time he kept it under wraps. That made the trailer more thrilling. The visuals by Niketh are great, and the movie appears to be visually dense," Rajamouli added.

Soundtrack Highlight: 'Naadi Naadi Naadi Naade Yee Lokamantha'

Rajamouli further noted that the emotional depth of the film is brought out in Devi Sri Prasad's song 'Naadi Naadi Naadi Naade Yee Lokamantha', hailing it as the heart and soul of the film.

He concluded with a call to fans not to miss the theatrical release on June 20.
