NTR to Feature in 'War 2' Alongside Hrithik Roshan
NTR is gearing up for his Bollywood debut with the action thriller War 2, where he will be sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan. The film will be released globally on August 14. As part of promoting the film, Esquire India magazine placed NTR on its recent cover. During a conversation with the magazine, NTR expressed his views about the film as well as his role.
The Main Reason NTR Accepted War 2
NTR said that he went for War 2 due to the presence of a good script. He highlighted that the story was good and attracted him. He further added that it was an enjoyable experience to work with Hrithik Roshan.
He also pointed to the cooperation among North Indian and South Indian technicians. "Everybody worked together, irrespective of language," NTR said. He added that the Indian film industry is no longer fragmented into different areas as Bollywood, Tollywood, or Mollywood. "It must be viewed as one— the Indian film industry," he said.
NTR on Film Success and Storytelling
NTR pointed out that there is no guaranteed formula for a film to succeed. He recalled director Rajamouli’s opinion that storytelling must connect with the audience. "It’s all about how the story is told," he added.
Personal Interests Shared by NTR
In the course of the interview, NTR also discussed his life outside of acting. He said he likes cooking and is a good chef. "I love to cook for my wife Pranathi and friends," he said. He especially likes making biryani, which is one of his favorite foods.
NTR also claimed he does not plan long-term. Instead, he prefers to deal with opportunities in an honest way as they arise.
Regarding War 2 and Cast
War 2 is helmed by Ayan Mukerji and is a part of the Yash Raj Films Spy Universe. The female lead is played by actress Kiara Advani. The trailer and songs of the movie have already been welcomed well. Hrithik Roshan and NTR are eagerly waiting to see them acting together.
