Prime Minister’s Message on the Awards
Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the launch of the Ramoji Excellence Awards, introduced on the birth anniversary of Ramoji Rao. He termed Ramoji Rao as a visionary who shaped Indian media and entertainment. Modi termed naming the awards after Ramoji Rao as a great tribute. He noted that honoring individuals who work for national development strengthens the concept of a developed India. He said that public service rewards to individuals draw inspiration among citizens in every part of the country.
Modi said that the endeavor supports a positive culture and builds national unity. According to him, there are values that the move fosters, such as selflessness, honesty, and commitment, which support collective progress. Modi also noted that for the past decade, efforts had been made to bring into the limelight the work of those who contributed to the nation amidst scarce resources.
Honoring Public Service and National Growth
Modi said the Padma Awards and Mann Ki Baat programme draw the peoples' attention to such personalities. He elaborated that their work, ideas, and experiences have a pivotal role in social transformation. The goal of a developed India in 2047 is possible only through the participation of all, he added.
Modi felt that every citizen had a significant role in facilitating national growth and assisting India in presenting itself as an example to the world. He congratulated all the recipients of the Ramoji Excellence Awards and called upon them to continue to serve the nation. He wished them success in their future work.
