‘Street Fighter’ is an upcoming American action comedy movie based on the video game series from Capcom. It is the third live-action full-length movie adaptation of the franchise. The movie was directed by Kitao Sakurai, co-written by Sakurai and T. J. Fixman, with an ensemble cast comprising Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, Roman Reigns, David Dastmalchian, Cody Rhodes, Andrew Schulz, Vidyut Jammwal, Eric Andre, 50 Cent, and Jason Momoa. In the movie, Chun-Li enlists Ryu and Ken Masters for participation in the martial arts tournament against M. Bison.

In April 2023, Legendary Entertainment purchased the live-action film and television rights for the Street Fighter franchise, at which time the movie had already entered active development in association with Capcom. The movie was first announced with the Philippou brothers Danny and Michael as its directors who would exit their positions in June 2024, while Kitao Sakurai would be brought onboard the following February. The casting process ran in May and June 2025. Production was set to begin in August 2025 and conclude in November of the same year.

‘Street Fighter’ will be released in the United States through Paramount Pictures on October 16, 2026.
