As per FWICE, the actor allegedly didn’t cooperate during the negotiations connected to the dispute. The group also reportedly asked members of the film industry not to work with him, until the matter is resolved.

FWICE added that sudden exits from big projects can cause financial instability for producers and workers who are connected to film projects. They also said these kind of situations shake up the overall workplace climate in Bollywood.

The decision then turned into one of those most discussed entertainment stories in India, like overnight.

Will the ban affect Ranveer Singh’s career?

Industry observers feel the situation might not fully shut the door on Ranveer Singh getting offers.

Because FWICE isn’t a government body, the ban does not legally stop filmmakers from casting him. But, the dispute could still lead to postponements or delays in upcoming productions, until everything is settled properly.
