Students Express Educational Concerns

The students informed Rahul Gandhi about various issues faced by them. They complained of the absence of representation in the faculty. They also informed him that their groups suffer discrimination while appointments are being made at senior levels.

Students identified that the National Education Policy (NEP) has loopholes. They alleged that courses for skill development do not have an equal impact on them. They also informed him that they do not have proper educational infrastructure and are subjected to discriminatory attendance rules.

Rahul Gandhi Supports Student Involvement

Rahul Gandhi reacted to the students' issues. He invited them to adopt the principles of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. He asserted that students need to "read, stand up, and organize." Students need to back equality and justice in education, as per him.

He further said that students ought not to restrict their role to studies. They should act for the rights of marginalized and oppressed groups. Rahul Gandhi stressed the importance of inclusive educational institutions.
