Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani was reportedly listed among the flight's passengers. A ticket in his name went viral online, showing a boarding time of 12:10 PM. His name was also confirmed in the official passenger list. According to media reports, Rupani had booked this flight to visit his daughter, who lives in London.

Background on Vijay Rupani
Vijay Ramniklalbhai Rupani, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), served as Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2016 to 2021. He has two sons and one daughter. His younger son Pujit died in a previous accident.
