Overview of the Incident
There was a shooting incident at Khajana Jewelry Store located in Chandanagar. Six armed men opened the store and tried to rob it. They fired two shots when the workers offered resistance. The deputy manager got injured in the attack in his leg.

- The attackers threatened the staff with a gun.

- When staff also refused, they shot at the deputy manager.
- The assailants broke gold jewelry counters and assaulted some of the employees.
- They destroyed CCTV cameras and then escaped.
Police Response
The police were called by the store staff immediately after the attack. On their arrival, the attackers escaped. Ten teams of police have been deployed to track the suspects.

Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mahanti stated that the incident took place around 10:30 am. He confirmed the deputy manager was injured but is in stable condition. The attackers failed to open the gold jewelry counters. However, they broke into silver jewelry counters and stole silver items. The exact value of the stolen silver is still being determined.
