- Modi said the plan will benefit Palestinians, Israelis, and the wider West Asian region.
- He spoke of the hope that everyone will back the move to end the war.
Muslim Countries' Support
- Some Muslim countries backed Trump's initiative.
- Qatar, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia made a joint statement in support.
- Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron also welcomed the initiative.
Positions of Israel and Hamas
- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu embraced Trump's offer.
- He announced this after meeting Trump.
- Netanyahu cautioned that Hamas also has to approve the plan, or suffer military repercussions.
- Hamas indicated it is willing to release Israeli hostages.
- The group added that it had not yet seen the full plan and will provide its response upon reading it.
