President Droupadi Murmu Highlights Key Achievements In Budget Session

President Droupadi Murmu delivered her speech to both Parliament chambers at the Budget session beginning. She presented multiple government accomplishments which occurred during the previous decade.

Poverty Reduction and Public Services

The President announced that during ten years of NDA governance 25 crore individuals escaped from poverty. She explained that households received more than 100 crore gas connections. The Ayushman Bharat program provides healthcare services to millions of people. She confirmed that farmers exist as the main focus while agricultural infrastructure undergoes development. The President confirmed that MGNREGA program continues to provide employment opportunities throughout rural areas. She emphasized that the government main objective exists to improve the living conditions of backward classes.

Economic Reforms and Self-Reliance

President Murmu stated that the government proceeds with its mission to establish Atmanirbhar Bharat as a self-sufficient nation. She displayed the current governmental changes which will drive future economic development. The Production Linked Incentive (PLI) program drives industrial production growth. The electronic goods production industry achieved major advancements. The government has prepared initiatives to increase its maritime trading activities.

Defense and Security Achievements

The President mentioned that Operation Sindhu which took place last year displayed the operational capabilities of the Indian Army. She stated that the mission demonstrated India’s capacity to defend itself against threats. The military operation resulted in defense exports reaching their highest levels.
