Samsung has introduced a new smartphone in the budget segment. The Galaxy F70e 5G serves as the first release from the F70 series of the company. The smartphone has a big battery and its back panel shows a leather-like design.
Software and Display
- The Galaxy F70e operates on One UI 8 which uses Android 16 as its foundation. The company confirmed that users will receive six years of operating system updates along with six years of security updates for this device.
- The smartphone features a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD display. The device enables smoother screen movement through its 120Hz refresh rate feature.
Performance and Processor
The device uses a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor that operates through eight processing cores. According to Samsung, the phone scored around 6.23 lakh points on the AnTuTu benchmark, indicating solid performance for its segment.
Camera Setup
The Galaxy F70e includes a dual rear camera system and a front camera:
- 50MP main rear camera
- 2MP depth sensor
- 8MP front-facing camera
The setup enables users to capture basic photographs through its standard camera functionality.
Battery and Build
The smartphone contains a 6000mAh battery which enables users to operate their device for extended periods. The device weighs 199 grams and contains a leather-finish back panel which gives it an upscale appearance.
Price and Availability
Samsung is offering the Galaxy F70e in two variants:
- 4GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs. 12,999
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs. 14,999
The phone will be available for purchase starting February 17. The Flipkart platform and Samsung online store will commence sales operations.
