Initial Schedule Announcement on March 12

- The organizers announced March 26 as the starting date for the 19th season of the Indian Premier League. BCCI has postponed the opening to March 28 according to the recent announcement. BCCI Annual Awards Ceremony on March 15
- The BCCI will conduct its annual awards ceremony in Delhi on March 15. The event will honor several Indian cricket teams and individuals.
- The board plans to invite the T20 World Cup champions and other teams that won ICC tournaments. Coaches and support staff will also attend the ceremony.
Saikia said that the following teams will participate in the event:
- The senior men’s national team
- The senior women’s team that won the trophy in 2025
- The Under-19 boys’ team
- The Under-19 girls’ team
The BCCI will also honor the team that won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025. The ceremony will recognize their achievements and contributions to Indian cricket.
