The company reported that Indian users now consume 31GB of data monthly during the month of March 2025. The average for 2024 reached 27.5GB while this period shows a clear growth pattern.
- Nokia presented its findings through the 13th edition of its Mobile Broadband Index report. The report confirmed monthly data usage reached 12.9 Exabytes (EB) during the year 2025. One Exabyte equals 1 billion gigabytes, which shows the large scale of data consumption.

Nokia identified several factors driving the increase in data consumption:

- Rising popularity of cloud gaming
The services require users to have fast internet connections together with the ability to download large amounts of data which results in increased total data usage.

India has become a major player in global 5G adoption.
