The Gujarat Titans achieved a five-wicket victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders during their IPL 2026 match which took place in Ahmedabad. Kolkata scored 180 in 20 overs. Gujarat completed their chase after 19.4 overs by reaching 181 runs with five wickets remaining.
Gujarat’s Chase
Shubman Gill led the innings with 86 runs from 50 balls. He maintained control over the chase while keeping the required run rate at the same level. Sai Sudharsan scored 22 and Jos Buttler added 25. Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan remained not out to complete the chase.
Kolkata’s Batting
Cameron Green scored 79 from 55 balls and was the main contributor. Rovman Powell added 27. Other batters failed to build partnerships, which limited the total.
Bowling Highlights
Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets for Gujarat. Siraj and Ashok Sharma took 2 each. For Kolkata, Varun Chakravarthy picked up 2 wickets, while three others took one each.
