WhatsApp is further developing its platform with fresh updates to enhance user experience. A new feature in the making will enable users to make voice and video calls directly from WhatsApp Web—without the mobile or desktop app.
App-Free Calling to Be Launched Soon
Before, one could only place calls using WhatsApp on the mobile or desktop platforms after installing it. With the new update coming up, that will be no longer needed. Phone and video call icons will be displayed to WhatsApp Web users within chat windows, allowing effortless communication directly from the browser.
Feature Currently in Testing Phase
According to a trusted WhatsApp news source WABetaInfo, this fresh calling feature is not yet rolled out. This feature will hit the market as an update on all devices soon.
