Following the horrific accident at the Simhachalam temple, where a wall collapse resulted in deaths and injuries to devotees, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other high-profile leaders have sent their condolences. The Prime Minister has also stated that financial relief will be given to the victims' families from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. Leaders at both national and state levels responded with sadness and extended their support to the bereaved families.

PM Modi Offers Condolences and Declares Relief

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed profound shock at the Simhachalam temple wall collapse, which was fatal. In his message, he expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and wished a speedy recovery to those who were injured. Expressing prompt support, the Prime Minister sanctioned compensation under the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. The families of each of the deceased victims will be compensated with ₹2 lakh, and ₹50,000 will be paid to each injured person.
