Chandrababu Naidu: Annadata Sukhibhava, Thalliki Vandanam Schemes To Launch In May

Development Schemes to Roll Out in May

Annadata Sukhibhava and Thalliki Vandanam schemes will be put into effect from May, announced Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu while taking part in a teleconference with TDP leaders—MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and booth-level workers. He urged huge attendance at the Amaravati development resumption event on May 2.

Capital Development a Priority Focus

Naidu asserted that Amaravati will be a representation of the dreams of the state's youth and people. He said that the NDA government's concern is still on balanced regional development. The revenue generated from the construction of Amaravati will be channeled into welfare activities and infrastructure. He further added, "We plan to develop full infrastructure in Amaravati in the next three years."

Key Infrastructure Projects to Commence

On May 2, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will mark the resumption of the Amaravati project and then he will lay the foundation for projects valued at Rs 49,040 crore. Additionally, projects worth Rs 57,962 crore—including those by DRDO, DPIP, NAI, and the Railways—will be inaugurated virtually.

Amaravati’s Revival After Policy Setbacks

It was Naidu who, by the method of three capitals, pointed out the delay in Amaravati's progress that the previous government had caused. He lauded capital region farmers' efforts, whose agitation helped revive the city's project. Notwithstanding economic hardships, the government aims to strike a balance between development and welfare within the next ten months.

Statewide Development in Motion

He made a renewed statement that development is not Amaravati-centric. Some of the main projects are:

  • Polavaram Project: To be completed by 2027
  • TCS Expansion at Visakhapatnam: Expected to create mass employment
  • Bhogapuram Airport: In fast pace of construction
  • LG Investment: Rs 5,000 crore in Sri City

He said Andhra Pradesh is getting some of the country's highest national-level investments.

Reaction to Simhachalam Tragedy

Naidu expressed regret at the death of seven pilgrims who were crushed by a collapsed wall in Simhachalam. He declined to visit the spot in order not to inconvenience temple activity and is keeping abreast from Amaravati. All other appointments have been canceled for the day.

Party Directions and Political Strategy

The Chief Minister called on party leaders to remain grounded with their cadre and directed that all alliance party representatives should attend government-related schemes. He also stated that the nominated posts have been allocated to recognize committed workers.

Mahanadu and Media Response

Naidu was assured of the grand celebration of Mahanadu to be held in Kadapa. Party leaders were tasked with getting prepared for all elections to come with a clean NDA win promised. Naidu severely denounced reports of the opposition media spreading misleading information and repeated blunders from the YSRCP and held them responsible for their government as well as communications with the masses.
