Minister underlines national strength and Andhra Pradesh development during BJP tenure
In a public address on Amaravati reconstruction, Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh reasserted India's resilience against foreign intrusions. Lokesh dispelled the talk of Pakistan, stating that even a hundred Pakistani intrusions would be in vain in front of India's defense. Lokesh attributed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership as the cornerstone of national security and reaffirmed sustained central support to Andhra Pradesh's most important development schemes.
Lokesh Focused on National Security and Strength of Leadership
Amaravati was the locality where the Minister Nara Lokesh delivered a speech, where he was also observed strongly ruling out any possibility of Pakistan for a serious menace to India. He clearly asserted that even if one hundred Pakistani soldiers try aggression, they will not be able to shake India's stability. Lokesh likened Prime Minister Narendra Modi to "India's missile," which is a reflection of his aggressive leadership and robust defense policy.
He began his address with a conventional welcome, "Amaravati Namo Namah," reiterating his dedication to constructing the capital. Lokesh made it quite clear that Pakistan would never be able to make any foothold in India, even to the point of planting a blade of grass. He again reiterated that the nation is safe under the present leadership and that efforts to destabilize it would never succeed.
Central Government Support to Andhra Pradesh Projects
Lokesh was pleased with the cordiality between Andhra Pradesh and the central government at present, particularly during the era of Prime Minister Modi. He stated that several development and infrastructure schemes are being given clearances and support from the central leadership. As per Lokesh, such intervention indicates the special interest of the Prime Minister towards the development requirements of Andhra Pradesh.
He also recalled the tough times following the bifurcation of the state in 2014, when Andhra Pradesh was left without a capital city. Lokesh credited Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister, with navigating the state through those times without succumbing to governance. He said Naidu kept administrative activities going with determination and visionary leadership despite political setbacks.
Political Setbacks and the Continued Push for Amaravati
Lokesh spoke ill of the Amaravati situation, accusing the accused of deliberately leaving aside the development of the capital city. Lokesh accused the earlier governments of politically neglecting Amaravati and reiterated that the people, and especially the people of Andhra Pradesh, still stood for its formation as state capital.
He added despite there being legal problems and complaints leveled against Amaravati supporters, including the farmers, the movement has not stopped. Lokesh asserted that efforts to stop progress by intimidation or litigation have not succeeded in weakening the determination of the people. He pointed out that Amaravati is not a construction project but a people's vision.
Amaravati as the People's Capital
Recalling the importance of Amaravati, Lokesh described it as a reflection of people's will and not a individual ambition project. According to Lokesh, during Amaravati, the citizens are of a place, and it cannot be created by any action of administration or any opposition of politics. In his opinion, the foundation of the city rests in the sacrifices and devotion of local farmers who have endured despite adversity.
