China Expresses Alarm at Tensions

China has spoken out about the recent military tensions between Pakistan and India. The Chinese Foreign Ministry spoke about the matter at a press briefing.

Lin Jian, China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, said the situation is grave. He said that increased tensions between India and Pakistan are of concern to China.

China Calls for Peace and Restraint

Lin emphasized that China opposes terrorism in any form. He called on both India and Pakistan to respect international law. He also called on both nations to exercise restraint and not take measures that would aggravate tensions.

Support for Peace Efforts

Lin also said that China is willing to cooperate with the international community. China would like to help reconcile tensions between India and Pakistan, he added. China hopes the region will again be peaceful and stable.
