Kamra, Punjab — Pakistan demonstrated readiness to restart negotiations with India. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif revealed that Pakistan is eager for peace and ready to start talks.

Kashmir Issue Emphasized as Priority Agenda Item

He further added that the upcoming negotiations will also have to discuss the matter of Kashmir. This was asserted outright during the visit to the Kamra Air Base on Thursday in Pakistan's Punjab province.

India Refuses to Budge

India has remained adamant that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are union territories of the country. India has further asserted that these places cannot be negotiated.
