
Opportunity for Intermediate MPC Candidates
Candidates passed Intermediate (MPC group) now have a chance to serve in the Indian Army, get free B.Tech, and get a permanent rank as a Lieutenant. The Indian Army has issued the notification of the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES).
JEE Main Score Based Selection
- Selection is done according to the JEE Main 2025 score.
- Candidates will go through a two-stage selection process.
- Shortlisted applicants will be chosen on merit.
- The chosen candidates shall be provided with free B.Tech education and military training.
- On successful completion, they shall be commissioned as Lieutenants.
Training Details
- Training Period: 4 years
- Phase-1: 3 years Pre-Commission Training in Basic Military and Engineering at Pune, Secunderabad, and Mau.
- Phase-2: 1 year Pre-Commission Training at Officer Training Academy, Dehradun.
- During Phase-2, a stipend of ₹56,100 per month is given.
Upon Training
- Candidates receive a B.Tech degree upon graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
- They will be permanent full-time Lieutenants in the Indian Army.
- Starting Pay:
- Basic: ₹56,100 (Level-10)
- Military Service Pay: ₹15,500
- Additional benefits include DA, HRA, and other allowances.
- Total salary per year is around ₹18 lakh.
Career Growth
- Promotions on the basis of service:
- Captain: After 2 years
- Major: After 6 years
- Lieutenant Colonel: After 13 years
- These are permanent posts with full pension facilities.
- Officers can retire or opt voluntarily.

- Should have passed Intermediate/Plus 2 with 60% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
- JEE Main 2025 score is mandatory.
