State Government Seeks Film Industry Development
Andhra Pradesh Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography, Kandula Durgesh, has stated that the state is making major plans to promote the film industry. This is happening under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
Visakhapatnam to be a Major Film Hub
The Minister delivered these words in the trailer launch ceremony of the film 'Bhairavam'. He mentioned that Andhra Pradesh provides picturesque locations for film shootings but has no adequate infrastructure. To rectify this, the government is formulating a new policy to aid the construction of film studios, dubbing halls, and re-recording houses.
Nandi Awards to Be Announced Soon
Minister Durgesh assured that the long-dormant Nandi Awards would be reinstated and announced in the near future. He also revealed plans to have a meeting with prominent producers, directors, and actors to discuss the growth of the industry.
Complete Support for Industry Growth
The Minister assured that the government will provide complete support to develop the film industry in Andhra Pradesh. He asserted Visakhapatnam would be built up with robust infrastructure like Hyderabad.
