Pakistan's Response After Operation Sindoor

After India's Operation Sindoor, Pakistan retaliated with missile and drone attacks. Major General Kartik C Seshadri confirmed that Pakistan attempted to attack the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. The Indian Army thwarted the attack.

Army Had Expected Attack on Strategic Locations

Indian Army was expecting that Pakistan would take revenge in the form of aggression. It believed that religious sites and civilian areas, such as the Golden Temple, might be bombed. To avoid doing so, the army increased security at such sites.

Security Precautions Protected Golden Temple

Major General Seshadri reported that Pakistani drones and missiles were downed. The army air defense gunners destroyed them all. Golden Temple remained safe and intact.

Operation Sindoor and Its Effects

Operation Sindoor was an Indian defense operation against Pakistani terror camps. Over 100 terrorists were neutralized. In retaliation, Pakistan launched hundreds of drones and missiles on Indian territory.

Indian Defense Systems Successfully Retaliated

India used S-400, Akash, and other missile defense. All the drones and missiles were successfully shot down by these defense systems. The weapons were eliminated in different places. The Western Command shared similar videos, and video footage of wreckage of drones became viral on social media.
