India Strikes Back Hard at Pakistan's Activity
India struck back hard at recent activity by Pakistan in the form of the military confrontation called Operation Sindoor. Indian forces were able to counter enemy missiles and drones effectively during the operation. They also engaged and destroyed key military bases on the other side.
India's Offensive Strength Depicted by Defense Official
Indian Army's Director General of Air Defense, Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan de Cunha, further said that India possesses the sheer capability to carry out a massive offensive on Pakistan. He further said that all the places in Pakistan are in the ambit of Indian missiles and drones. Even if Pakistan shifts its military headquarters from Rawalpindi to other places like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, India will also be able to target those places with pin-point attacks.
Pakistan Would Have to Withdraw or Hide, General Warns
General de Cunha further clarified in more detail that in a larger military intervention by India, Pakistan would have to hide underground or go undercover. He laid stress on the operational depth and preparedness of Indian defense technology in a national media interview.
Role of Sophisticated Defense Technology in Operation Sindoor
He has emphasized that indigenous technologies, such as long-range drones and guided missiles, were instrumental in carrying out Operation Sindoor. His viewpoint is that the Indian Army's top objective continues to be the defense of national sovereignty and the closure of border infiltrations.
Country Pride and Military's Responsibility Highlighted
The work of the army is not losing men and having secure borders, the general said. These were the instructions handed out when the Operation Sindoor was planned. He was a proud man as far as the successful operation went and said that the morale of not just the troops but their families as well as citizens all over the country has been enhanced by it.
