Operation Sindoor: The Quick Military Action

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reported that Indian defense personnel reacted swiftly following the April 22 terror strike. Based on him, Operation Sindoor was initiated within 22 minutes of the incident. The Prime Minister added that the operation displayed robust military strength and had complete support from the three armed forces.

In a speech in Rajasthan's Bikaner, he stated that the objective was to destroy terror outfits root and branch. He emphasized that India takes pride in the success and coordination depicted during the operation.

India's Message to Pakistan

PM Modi cautioned that India would not accept terrorism. He emphasized that the nation would not act complacent anymore. He asserted that India will not be deterred by nuclear threats and will not have trade or communicate with Pakistan unless it is about Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

He also said that any new attack would have severe repercussions for Pakistan's military and economy. Indian water resources would no longer be permitted to flow into Pakistan, he added.

India's Long-Term Development Goals

PM Modi underscored efforts to make India a developed country. He added that the government had been working day and night for the past 11 years to improve infrastructure. The modernization of the Indian rail network is included in this vision.

He cited Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, and Namo Bharat trains as instances of speedy and efficient rail service. The Prime Minister also dedicated the newly constructed Deshnok station under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme and flagged off Bikaner-Mumbai Express.

Cultural and Local Engagements

PM Modi also participated in local practices when he visited. He worshipped at the Karni Mata temple in Deshnok and mingled with students following the public address.

Operation Sindoor Background

The April 22 attack was perpetrated in the Baisaran Valley close to Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. In retaliation, Indian troops destroyed several terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. The mission was dubbed Operation Sindoor. It also involved aircraft flying over the North Pole on a polar route.
