Former US President Donald Trump said that Israel and Iran must come to an agreement because of the recent increase in violence. Trump added that he is making efforts in that direction. Trump said that he negotiated peace among multiple countries during his time as president but did not take credit for it then. Trump expressed such sentiments on his Truth Social page.
Trump Speaks of His Action in India-Pakistan Ceasefire
Trump echoed his previous assertion that the ceasefire between India and Pakistan occurred as a result of his intervention. India, however, has officially discredited this assertion.
Trump Remarks on Iran's Stand and American Initiative
Trump made the remarks soon after Iran stated that it had attacked Israel in self-defense and would cease retaliation if Israel did the same. Prior to this, Trump had threatened Iran, saying the U.S. was not party to Israel's actions but any attack on America would get a stern response.
Trump Outlines Previous Peace Initiatives During Presidency
Trump once again claimed that he could broker peace between Israel and Iran. He mentioned his previous role in sorting out conflicts between Serbia and Kosovo, and Egypt and Ethiopia. He posted that he had already attended a number of meetings and discussions for peace in the region.
