Congress leader Sonia Gandhi is on the road to recovery. She was admitted on Sunday at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi. She underwent admission due to stomach-related ailments.
Doctors Keeping a Close Eye on Her Condition
Her health is fine at the moment, say hospital sources. Hospital chairman Ajay Swarup has confirmed that doctors are watching her condition closely.
Earlier Visit Connected to High Blood Pressure
Sonia Gandhi also visited the same hospital on June 9 for medical tests. Reports say her blood pressure had increased during a recent visit to Shimla. She received treatment there before returning to Delhi.
