Iran's Leader Responds to Israel Strike
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei described Israel as having made a serious error when it attacked Iran. He insisted that Israel has to be confronted. In a video put out at the time of the attacks, he insisted that Iran won't yield.
Khamenei Replies to U.S. Threats
Khamenei made a reference to the threats of former U.S. President Donald Trump. He stated that any person who is aware of Iran's past would understand that Iran does not fear such threats. He also warned that if the American military is drawn into it, the destruction would be extensive and cannot be reversed.
Iran Warns of Wider Conflict
Iran's Foreign Ministry also spoke through a spokesman who issued a threat. According to him, if the U.S. intervened in the war between Iran and Israel, the war would be extended throughout West Asia. He asserted Iran would not spare itself from any attack.
U.S. Remarks about Iran's Leader
President Trump recently made remarks about Khamenei. He said U.S. intelligence knows Khamenei’s location and confirmed he is safe. However, Trump added that the U.S. has no current plans to target him. Khamenei’s message came after Trump warned that Iran must surrender completely or face serious consequences.
