Middle East Tensions Increase

The Middle East conflict is taking a turn for the worse. The latest war between Iran and Israel is now hitting global powers. The United States is said to be gearing up for potential military action against Iran. Officials point to Tehran's nuclear pursuits as the biggest concern. Washington is also waiting for the opportune time to strike.

Russia Gives Firm Warning

Russia has reacted with alarm. The Russian Foreign Ministry official, Maria Zakharova, made a categorical warning. She said U.S. military intervention in the Iran-Israel conflict would be inappropriate and risky. Zakharova indicated that any such action under the current circumstances could have severe repercussions.

"We want to issue an American warning. Military intervention now is not appropriate. It is very dangerous," Zakharova said to media.

Russia has also responded to an Israeli recent attack. The attack occurred on Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant. Russia called for an end to such attacks immediately. Authorities issued a warning that further strikes would lead to a Chernobyl-type nuclear disaster.
