Yoga Andhra: A Organised as a Tribute to the Prime Minister
Minister Nara Lokesh expressed his gratitude for the successful organization of the Yoga Andhra event at Visakhapatnam. He informed that the programme was organized as a special regard to Prime Minister Narendra Modi with an objective to set a Guinness World Record.
Lokesh said that public response was beyond expectations. He attributed the success to increasing awareness among the people. The event was well-organized and peaceful throughout. Lokesh said that the Prime Minister's statement has enhanced his sense of responsibility. He termed the program a source of pride for Andhra Pradesh.
Development Strategy: Decentralization and IT Job Growth
Lokesh also addressed the administrative and development plans of the state. He certified that Amaravati has been selected as the capital for effective governance. He stressed that development will be decentralized to all areas in the state.
He also mentioned that Visakhapatnam will be turned into a prominent IT destination in South India. The aim is to generate 500,000 IT jobs in the city, leading to regional development and employment.
