Ceasefire Established After 12 Days of Battle

Iran and Israel agreed to end military activity. This comes after almost two weeks of missile exchanges between the countries. The update was provided by former U.S. President Donald Trump on his social media site "Truth" at 3:32 a.m. (Indian time) on Tuesday.

As per Trump, the ceasefire will start within a few hours. It shall be officially announced 24 hours from now. This declaration marks the culmination of the 12-day war. Trump congratulated both countries on signing this accord.

Trump Provides Information on the Ceasefire

Trump uploaded that Iran shall start the process of ceasefire first. Israel shall follow soon afterward. Both parties have agreed to end all military activities.

"Congratulations to everyone.". Israel and Iran have come to an agreement on a total ceasefire. The procedure begins in six hours. The war formally comes to an end in 12 hours. Iran will initiate. Israel will retaliate thereafter. This marks the end of the 12-day war. Both sides should remain calm and be respectful. I feel this will succeed. I thank both nations. If the war continued, West Asia might have been ruined. But it didn't. It won't happen again. God bless America, Israel, Iran, the Middle East, and the world," Trump said.

Hopes for Lasting Peace in the Region

Iran had earlier fired missile attacks titled 'Operation Basharat al-Fath' on U.S. military bases. Trump reacted by thanking Iran for publicizing their actions in advance.

He expressed hope that Iran would now seek peace. He also said he would support efforts to encourage Israel to sign a peace deal. Trump confirmed that both countries are ending the war.
